Applications for employment are accepted only for those positions currently posted on the Brevard County Property Appraiser's Job Opportunity Listings page. This listing is updated as needed.
A separate application must be submitted for each job number.
This system is the sole method of submitting an application for employment (no faxes, mail, or direct email will be accepted). Your application must be received no later than 5:00 pm on the day the position closes.
To receive Veteran's Preference, Veterans' Preference documentation (Form DD-214) must be provided upon initial interview and must include a copy of an official document showing dates of service and type of discharge.
Positions may be filled in as few as two weeks, but some may take longer.
After the job closes, the hiring authority reviews all applications, selects the best qualified candidate(s) and schedules interviews. Upon completion of the pre-employment process, and if the position is still approved to be filled, the best qualified candidate will be contacted by the Property Appraiser's designee.
FLORIDA DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE
Applicant must successfully pass a drug test before being accepted for employment. Refusal to submit to a drug test, or a positive confirmed test result, will disqualify Applicant for employment with BCPA for a period of one year. During employment Applicant will be subject to BCPA’s drug testing policy.
